Toyota Tacoma
The Tacoma name was introduced in 1995 Prerunner models started in 98 but thats not the whole story. Toyota began building trucks in 1935 when they introduced the G1. The G1 was a one-and-a-half-ton stake bed truck powered by the same Type A engine used in the A1 which was Toyotas first car model. Toyota built just 379 of the G1s.
