The Toyota parts experts at Reno Toyota, serving the greater Reno area, are the go-to source for your customization needs, but even they're impressed with some of the creations put on display at the SEMA Show each year. The annual event is the premier venue for showing off a vehicle's aftermarket potential, so it makes sense that automakers tend to enlist the help of third-party customization experts in preparation for the show.

Toyota did just that, but also adding a bit of a twist to the old routine. Specifically, Toyota didn't turn to a vehicle customization firm, but rather to drivers from NASCAR and the NHRA for inspiration.

Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch, Alexis DeJoria, and Antron Brown were all asked to design a special version of their favorite new Toyota for the show. Each of their creations Battled for votes on Facebook leading up to the start of the 2012 SEMA Show. The one driver whose creation received the most votes will be given a check for $20,000 to give to the charity of their choice.

Who Won this year's contest?

After hours of hard work and a countless number of Toyota parts used, the fans voted and in the end, they chose Kyle Busch's "Rowdy" Camry as the winner.

"We appreciate Toyota's support, everybody that's been a part of this program, all my friends here, all my competitors that we had to go up against and my friends at Detroit Speed for building such as awesome piece," says Kyle Busch in celebrating his big win. As for what charity he donated to: the money from the win went to the Kyle Busch Foundation, which participates in a wide range of youth programs.

The other models represented in the contest were Bowyer's "Tekked Out" a Toyota Prius. NHRA drivers, DeJoria and Brown, meanwhile, showed off a Pre-Runner version of the Toyota Tundra and drag racing variant of the Toyota Sequoia respectively.

Impressive models to say the least, but we're guessing you're more interested in the originals. After all, they are a bit more down to earth. If so, simply contact Reno Toyota to arrange a test drive at 2100 Kietzke Lane in Reno.
