After the unveiling of the stunning Toyota Furia Concept at the Detroit Auto Show, we've been wondering when exactly the automaker would tell us more about whether or not this aggressively styled concept car was any indication that the new Toyota Corolla was on its way to production. Since it is such a staple within the new Toyota lineup, we've been excited to hear more about what the new 2014 model would bring to table.
Originally Toyota led us to believe we would have to wait until its official unveiling at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November before we would see the new Corolla, but recently the automaker indicated otherwise. Instead it is very likely that it will go on sale before the show, however a specific location or date has not been announced.
Looking back at the Furia Concept, we would certainly love to see some of its bold styling carry over to the new model. Even if it is more subdued for the production model, we are excited just the same to see what refreshing enhancements have been added to both its exterior and interior.
