As we look ahead to what Toyota has planned for the future, we are particularly excited for the launch of the 2014 Toyota Tundra, as it will be introducing an exciting advanced technology. The Entune infotainment system will make its first debut in the SUV with some new features we are thrilled to uncover right here on our Toyota blog.
For starters, the new and improved Entune is now a colored high-resolution 6.1-inch touchscreen. It has user-friendly controls and provides easy access to navigation, audio, phone, and features USB and iPod ports. In addition it offers Bluetooth, voice recognition and Text-to-Speech capabilities. In terms of Entune apps that are available, drivers have access to Yelp, Pandora, sports, Facebook Places and so much more, all of which are just a finger tap away.
What's even more exciting, is the Entune App Suite will be available to customers without the need for a subscription. Buyers of the Toyota Tundra will automatically be hooked up with all of the apps that the system is equipped with. This even includes HD Radio with weather and traffic updates.
It's not just the Tundra that will be bringing this new technology to our Reno Toyota showroom either. Over the next six months, a variety of 2014 models being released will also come equipped with the Entune System. Among those models are the RAV4, Camry, and Corolla. Over the course of the next year, the rest of the new Toyota lineup will become fully equipped as well.
