Here at Reno Toyota we love getting the chance to bring all of you in the greater Reno area the latest news about your favorite Japanese automaker here on our Reno Toyota blog. Especially when it has to do with how Toyota is going out of its way to give back to the community. Let's uncover the details of the automaker's most recent act of kindness.

In order to provide a sizable donation of $464,425 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) joined forces with three other auto remarketing firms. A partnership with ADESA, Manheim, and Norwalk Auto Auctions allowed for 19 different clubs to each receive $24,443 of the donation.

Last November, for every vehicle purchased TFS donated $50 dollars to the cause. This means that Toyota models sold like the Corolla or the Prius have contributed to making a difference in a child's life and future.

"The generous funding from Toyota and its auction partners enable local Boys & Girls Clubs across the country to continue combatting the high school dropout crisis and prepare the millions of teens we serve for college," explains Jim Clark, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. "Toyota's support goes far beyond the dollar."1

In addition to bringing safety to the lives of children in the community, Toyota is committed to providing safety within its vehicles as well. Come by today to test drive any of our new or used Toyota models. We are conveniently located at 2100 Kietzke Lane Reno, NV 89502, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have to assist you in finding the vehicle that satisfies all of your safety needs.
