Here at Reno Toyota we have been anxiously waiting to get our hands on some information regarding the new 2014 Toyota Corolla. Ever since we were dazzled by the Furia concept at this year's Detroit Auto Show, we knew that details would soon begin trickling out. The Corolla, which is set to be revealed later this year, will definitely be a model to watch for.

For those of you who enjoyed the sleek style and sporty design of the Furia concept, you are in luck. It seems as though several of these features will carry over to the new Corolla model, along with styling inspired by the Toyota Camry. This seems like it will be a winning combination that we can't wait to see in our showroom.

Under the hood the Corolla will sport a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with the Valvematic continuously variable valve timing. The base model will feature a four-speed automatic transmission, with the option of a six-speed manual transmission. We can also expect to see improvements in power and fuel efficiency when compared to this year's Toyota Corolla model which generates 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque.

The trim levels that will be available include the base, LE, S and Eco. Drivers can also look forward to upgraded interiors with the addition of softex leather. Other highlights include a navigation system and a push-button start.

Even though Toyota has yet to confirm any of these details for the production model, we have a good feeling this is an accurate prediction of what we can expect. For now, we will simply have to enjoy what our new Toyota vehicles have to offer. We welcome you to stop by our Reno, NV showroom anytime during our normal business hours so you can check them out!
