The 2014 Toyota Corolla

The new 2014 Toyota Corolla offers most of the reliable features that Corolla owners have come to expect, with a few new additions to give buyers something to look forward to with this latest model year release.
This version of the Corolla is bound to turn more heads than any of the past iterations of the car could of dream of doing.

The Look of the New Corolla

One of the main changes in the 2014 Toyota Corolla is the outward appearance of it. It just looks edgier and overall more attractive than older models. There are more sharp edges, the standard LED headlights look great, and the wider wheelbase makes this car look sportier than before.

Four Different Trim Options
There are four different trim options in the new Corolla, The L, LE, LE Eco and the S. All but the Eco comes with the same engine, and when you opt for one of the more expensive packages you are getting improved wheels, exterior features, and a few tech additions like the touch-screen display.

The LE Eco Trim
One of the major changes in the 2014 Corolla is the option to get the LE Eco Trim package. This package raises the standard MPG of the vehicle to 30 in the city and 42 on the highway thanks to the Valvomatic technology in the engine.

This package also increases the power of the vehicle to 140 HP which is slightly more powerful than the engine of the other three trim packages, while being more efficient. The Eco mode also controls how the car is operated, automatically limiting the acceleration of the car to keep it operated in a fuel efficient manner all the time.
The package is finished off with low rolling resistance tires as well as a coating on the underbody that cuts down on drag while driving.

The Cabin

The Interior of the 2014 Corolla is more spacious than ever before, and rear seat passengers are really going to enjoy the additional five inches of leg room to make the back seat even more comfortable to ride in.

It's easy to pick out a cabin that you like with seven different interior color schemes to choose from. You also have access to a range of modern features that make riding in the Corolla enjoyable. For instance there is an AUX connection for listing to MP3 players, Bluetooth connectivity for a cell phone, and a touch-screen display with a range of applications that you can use. You even have the option of adding a powerful navigation system into the touchscreen system.
Even though the Corolla is all about being practical, there are some nice accents in the cabin that keep it from looking cheap, and even though a large amount of plastic is used it still remains comfortable and stylish.

Many people were happy to buy the older Toyota Corolla models because they are known for their reliability and safety, without being unpleasant cars to drive around. Others refused to purchase the cars because they are somewhat bland in appearance. Now that second group may no longer have a reason to stay away from the new and improved 2014 Toyota Corolla. Not only does this new version drive better than ever before, but it also looks much more stylish than before making it into a well-rounded package.
