Please take advantage of the ability to pair your phone with your car to make your driving experience much more convenient, enjoyable, and SAFE.
Here is how it is done…..
1. Hit the APPS button on the left side of your touch screen and then Set Up on your touch screen.
OR
From your home screen you can hit the little gear on the upper right corner of your screen.
2. Hit Bluetooth and the Add
TURN YOUR ATTENTION TO YOUR CELL PHONE!
3. Go to settings and the Bluetooth and your phone will begin searching for your car to synch with.
4. Your car will come up at the bottom of your screen. Once it does just tap it and the phone will automatically pair.
Texting and driving is usually a NO NO but how that your phone and your car are synched sue to Bluetooth you can synch your text messages as well.
Here is how….
iPhone
After pairing your phone a message will pop up on your car touch screen that reads, “You may need to operate your device to allow messaging access. Waiting for device….”
At this point look to your phone and find the information bottom next to the word connected and then hit “Show notifications”. This will enable your text messaging.
Android
You will be automatically prompted and asked to set up notifications as soon as pairing takes place.
